How do you handle your defeats?
Really not very well. I go home and bury myself. It takes me around one day to overcome it.
What's for you most important in darts? What fascinates you most?
I would answer to both: The price money!
What do you practice and how long do you practice?
As for me darts is my full-time job I treat it like that and I practice 6 - 7 hours a day. I play games, practice doubles….
Do you only practice with a partner or do you practice alone as well?
Both. But not with Phil Taylor any longer. That was no good for my mental attitude any longer - and the mental side really is very important. Was too frustrating, got me down.
Do you do something for your fitness and do you think fitness is essential for playing darts?
Well, I do something for my mental fitness and something for bodily fitness, I play soccer for example.
Do you do something special to prepare for a tournament?
I try to bring myself into the right mindset….
What darts, flights and shafts do you use?
That's all from Unicorn.
Did you set yourself a goal for this year? What would you like to achieve?
My long-time goal certainly is to become World Champion.
