Do you prefer the weekend-tournaments, were you have to play all day long or the big tournaments, where You've only got one match a day? Which are more demanding or difficult to play?

Preferences change. I'm not sure at the moment, but I have felt comfortable at all levels.

Do you think there are too many tournaments now? For the players and the spectators?

Maybe too many smaller ones.

How important are spectators and fans for you? How much do you discern them at all?

I prefer to think of myself as an artist or craftsman who's work can be appreciated by it's own qualities, not me myself.

Whats for you most important in darts? What fascinates you most?

Defying the odds fascinates me.

Did it always fascinate you the same or were there times you would have preferred another job?

Never much liked the idea of a 9-5 existence.

What would you say is you special strength? And what your weakness?

Talent that responds to adrenalin (also my weakness).

What do you think makes the difference between a mediocre and a real good dart player?

Belief.

What advice would you give an enthusiastic beginner?

Practice more than anyone you know personally.
